The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to move projects from planning through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess business operations: Review workflows, systems, staffing responsibilities, and performance data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Document procedures: Create and maintain standard operating procedures, process maps, work instructions, checklists, and training materials.
  • Coordinate projects: Define project activities, track milestones and deliverables, manage action items, and communicate progress and barriers.
  • Analyze performance: Develop reports and dashboards that help leadership monitor key performance indicators and make informed decisions.
  • Support financial and administrative operations: Evaluate budgeting, expense tracking, invoicing workflows, resource allocation, and vendor coordination, as assigned.
  • Support organizational change: Help teams adopt updated processes and tools through clear communication, training, and follow-up.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships: Facilitate working sessions, gather requirements, and coordinate with clients, leadership, employees, and external partners.
  • Protect confidential information: Handle company and client information responsibly and follow applicable project requirements and approved policies.
  • Report results: Present findings, recommendations, implementation updates, and outcomes in clear, actionable terms.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in business operations, management consulting, project coordination, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Ability to evaluate business problems, analyze information, and recommend workable solutions.
  • Experience creating procedures, reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain findings to varied audiences.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, word processing, and collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Professional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience supporting client engagements or working across multiple departments.
  • Familiarity with project management methods, change management, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing performance dashboards or using business intelligence tools.
  • Relevant certification, such as PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or a comparable credential.

Measures of Success

Success in this role will be evaluated against agreed-upon project goals, including:

  • Timely completion of deliverables and implementation milestones.
  • Measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, cost, or service quality.
  • Clear, usable procedures and effective handoffs to responsible teams.
  • Consistent stakeholder communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Adoption and sustained use of recommended improvements.
